Join Northern Blooms!
Northern Blooms is a non-profit Montessori school located near downtown Traverse City. Our two cozy, multi-age classrooms provide childcare and early education for 23 children from 12 months - 6 years of age. In addition to our academic school year, we also offer a summer program from June-August.
Toddler Classroom: 8 children aged 12-36 months old*
*must be steadily walking
Primary Classroom: 15 children aged 36 months to 6 years old**
**children as young as 30 months may be considered depending on classroom readiness
Academic Year: September - June
We are currently accepting applications for 2026-27 enrollment for both our Toddler and Primary communities. Please note spots are limited!
To increase accessibility for all families, there is NO APPLICATION FEE for our Academic Program! Should you decide to enroll your child, a $100 administrative fee will be processed at the time of enrollment.
Summer Program: June - August

We are a Proud Tri-Share Participant
To help ensure access for a range of family incomes, families qualifying for Tri-Share or the upcoming Duo-Share may receive preference for up to 2/3 of spots at Northern Blooms.
Employers must enroll in the program for their employees to be eligible. To learn more about Tri-Share, visit www.trishare.org.

We offer 3 day and 2 day schedules. Our 3 day option is Monday-Wednesday and 2 day is Thursday and Friday.

We do not offer sibling discounts, however families enrolling multiple children do have enrollment preference.

Not at this time, but it is something we are working to offer in the future. We DO accept Tri-Share, which reduces tuition payments for eligible families. See the Tri-Share information on this page to learn more.

Students are required to bring their own cold lunches daily. Morning and afternoon snack is provided (we ask one family to bring enough snack items for the classroom each week).
