Community-Centric Early Childhood at Commongrounds

Family volunteers, teacher-leaders and other community advocates are working together to create a pair of new, purposefully designed, high-quality, and forward-looking classrooms for infants and toddlers at Commongrounds in downtown Traverse City.

OUR MISSION

To nurture the whole child through respect and love, unveiling their true potential in a community centric model.

By pairing the Montessori educational approach with a Parent-Cooperative structure, we are working to develop a unique, community-centric care option, as one means of addressing the current childcare crisis in our region. We hope that these two time-tested educational approaches, that follow the child and prioritize whole-person and family growth, will foster social connection and learning opportunities for children, parents and caregivers, alike.
